I'm tired of all this National Honor Society hype. I received the forsaken letter but lack the volunteer crap, so I shouldn't even bother applying.
What are your reasons for joining? College Apps?
As I see it, it doesn't really matter because I'm not going to a super-high college. Not that I don't have the GPA, : )

meh, many of my school related initiatives lack any logical motivation...the only reason im still doing anything is b/c i've successfully stopped my brain from processing that there is no point in doing anything...and so i just keep going...
that's sort of sad =(
iono NHS does seem like a random thing to put on a college app. most of my activities hold more interest for me than that, but...
i guess since almost everybody's doing it and sure, it looks good..
i don't think it's even really a club or anything, just volunteering
which is nice anyway if it's for a worthwhile cause
